In June Trisha became the spokesperson for a new government initiative: The Adult Learners Grant
ALG, a weekly grant of up to £30, helps people cover the costs of learning. While the scheme already supports many people going back into learning, there are still thousands more who could get real help to learn new skills – for work, a new career or to help build confidence.
Trisha is supporting this campaign to help encourage adults to learn and make their career dreams come true. Having made a successful career for herself she hopes to inspire others not to let self confidence get in the way of what you really want to do. With nearly half of British adults claiming that money worries stand in the way of them going back to learning, Trisha is supporting this campaign to make people aware that ALG is there to support them financially
