One of the things I find most satisfying is letting people tell their own stories in their own words. Everybody accepts Celebrities talking about intimate or shocking things that have happened to them, but what about ordinary, every day people? What about those unwittingly thrust into the spotlight, those labelled as bad or scary? And how about those who’ve triumphed in the face of adversity or the death of a loved one? I am passionate at giving a voice to those who are willing to tell me about their lives because we can all learn from what they have to say.
